According to another legend, once upon a time, there was a beautiful young woman named “Tahtali”, the daughter of a wealthy merchant. A girl named Tahtalı fell in love with a poor farmer. However, the girl’s father forbade her and the poor farmer to be together. Then the girl, heartbroken and helpless, climbed to the top of the mountain and threw herself from the summit. Later, the place where the girl jumped turned into a mountain peak. After that day, the mountain was given the name “Tahtalı”, which is the name of the girl.
